No land line? No worries! Direct Link’s Cellular Medical Alert System utilizes multiple cellular networks, so you can reach help 24/7 simply by pushing the pendant. The unit features a 650-foot button range, a 24-hour battery backup & will report if the pendant has been absent from the unit for an extended period of time. The Care Center is also notified of a power loss or low battery, and they will take the appropriate action to ensure your safety by alerting you directly or alerting an emergency contact.
Live life your way in the comfort of home! The Direct Link Fall Sensor is specifically designed to detect a fall and automatically dial the Central Monitoring Station to ensure you receive help promptly, and if no sudden movement is detected within 10 seconds, an “unconsciousness” alarm will be raised. Help can also be reached 24/7 by pushing the button.
Go where you want, when you want – all while staying connected! The Care Watch utilizes cellular & GPS technology to track your location in case of an emergency, allowing you to summon help within seconds, and converse directly with The Care Center. Lightweight, yet durable, The Care Watch can be worn as a wristwatch or pendant for up to 36 hours before needing to be recharged.
Keeping up with multiple medications can be a challenge, especially when there are certain prescriptions that must be taken at specific times during the day. According to the Alliance for Health Reform, approximately 20% of seniors are using about 50 prescriptions every year, and research shows about 25% of all nursing home admissions are related to improper self-administration of medicine.*

Chronic Disease constitutes roughly 75 percent of all health care spending.
Approximately 18% of patients are readmitted within 30 days of their hospital discharge (New England Healthcare Institute).
A Department of Veteran Affairs study found a 25% reduction in the average number of days hospitalized and a 19% reduction in hospitalization costs for patients using Telemonitoring.
Direct Link's vital sign monitoring program is the result of 20 years of experience with in-home monitoring of clients with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and the elderly. Our Care Center watches for falls, exceptions to client’s vital signs and medication adherence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Direct Link installs a convenient, easy to use modem in the client’s home. The modem plugs into a telephone jack.
The client takes their vitals and, with the touch of a single button on the modem, downloads the readings to our Care Center.
Clinicians and Care Center representatives watch the vitals and determine if they are in line with expectations. If our system algorithms determine they are out of line, we contact the client to ensure they are OK and then contact clinical professionals to triage the client helping them avoid hospitalization. Direct Link's active monitoring ensures that the client gets the help that they need.
If we do not receive vital signs within a specific time frame and according to their Care Plan, we call the client and give them a friendly reminder to take their vitals. We then follow up as necessary with caregivers or health care professionals.
